CBD has been on the steady rise over recent years, and the latest announcement by London-based CBD drinks brand Goodrays is testament to exactly that.
In case you hadn’t heard the CBD brand has just announced that their range will be available in Tesco. The supermarket giant has agreed to stock their double strength range as part of their campaign to increase the selection of drinks available to their shoppers.
This marks a first for the growing trend as Goodrays becomes the first CBD based beverage to be stocked in the UK supermarket, leading Goodrays to forecast a 1,000% increase in YOY growth.
“Our mission is to make high-quality CBD accessible, mainstream and widely understood,
and to have a listing in Tesco, the UK’s largest retailer,
is genuinely a dream come true,” - Founder of Goodrays, Eoin Keenan
The drinks are 100% vegan friendly and packed with 30mg of natural CBD. Although CBD is the latest health trend and studies have shown them to be very effective in relieving stress and anxiety, the price for a pack of 4 may just counteract that as they are retailing at a whopping £7.50, a pretty hefty price tag in the midst of a cost of living crisis.
“The quality and effectiveness of our product is down to the higher dose of 30mg of CBD in each can.
The majority of human studies that demonstrate how CBD can help to decrease stress and anxiety begin at a minimum of 20mg dosages
and we believe that like a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of kombucha, consumers should have the full benefits in a single product.” - Founder of Goodrays, Eoin Keenan
