Our client is a multi-million-pound global FMCG brand, renowned for its vast array of products integral to everyday life. Recognised for its innovation and expansive capabilities, this brand is synonymous with reliability and efficiency, shaping markets and driving progress worldwide.

This EU Sales Manager role will be instrumental in their acceleration plans in the market, establishing and maintaining best-in-class customer relationships, negotiating significant distribution, and implementing disruptive activation within the biggest German retailers. 

As Sales Manager, you will lead and manage the commercial growth to achieve revenue targets and objectives. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans, oversee the sales process, and build strong client relationships to drive business growth. Additionally, you will analyse sales data, identify market trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to motivate and inspire the team.

You'll be able to adapt well to a fast-paced work environment and possess a driven, entrepreneurial mindset. You'll also be persistent, proactive, self-starting, and adept at handling ambiguity.

Requirements

4-5 years+ experience of working with major DE Retailers (DM, Rossmann, Kaufland etc)

Ideally have experience in non-food categories across personal care, healthcare, or household. Other FMCG categories will be considered.

Cross-functional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Analytical mindset.

Customer-focused approach with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining relationships.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
