Job Description

At White Rabbit we make delicious Italian food that everyone can enjoy. Our range of plant-based, gluten-free pizza bases have seen huge success - we doubled the size of our business over the last two years and we’ve delivered +42% growth in 2022! Within the Foodservice channel we have a presence in pubs, restaurants & education but are looking to broaden this even further.

Moving forward, we have an ambitious growth target for our 2023/24 foodservice channel. We are therefore looking for an FMCG superstar to help us unlock the channels huge potential. The main focus of this role will be landing on-going contracts with new Foodservice customers, through our award-winning bases. We are constantly reviewing how we can innovate for the channel, and in the last year, we developed and launched a Focaccine Pizza especially for the education sector! The right candidate will have a proven track record of success in the UK Food Service sector, along with an extensive customer network within the sector.

Job details

Foodservice

  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to execute the Foodservice strategy for 2023/24
  • Full sector P&L responsibility for both existing customers and new business opportunities
  • Increase White Rabbit presence in the education & restaurant sectors
  • Create demand from end customers, to influence listings in Foodservice wholesalers
  • Attend trade shows to showcase the WR range & gain sector and customer knowledge
  • Feedback insight from customers and end users to our Innovation team

 

Wholesale & Export

  • Grow existing Wholesale customers, through increased understanding of end customer
  • Implement joint business plans, rolling out commercial initiatives and promotional plans
  • Utilise category insight provided to inform conversations with wholesalers
  • Establish a White Rabbit presence in Ireland
  • Evaluate future export opportunities to ensure they are profitable and sustainable

Requirements

Dynamic individual who is able to leverage trade relationships to deliver results

Excellent communication skills and solid commercial acumen

Experience building a Foodservice business from the ground up!

Prior experience working with Bidfood and or Brakes to win contracts

Positive attitude, and ability to influence strategic customers as well as seize adhoc opportunities when they arise

Ruthless prioritisation of tasks and customer requests
