Opportunity to open North America
A leading, privately owned spirits producer is looking for an entrepreneurial commercial director to lead its growth and expansion into North America. Using your outstanding commercial performance, you will ensure delivery of regional profit and turnover targets in line with corporate annual objectives while managing risks and opportunities. The focus is new business, so you need to be a director that can identify and develop new business: entering new regions, customers and categories according to growth strategy by developing existing brands and launching new meaningful product innovation. You’ll need to develop collaborative partnerships with regional distributors that share the same ambition by selecting the optimum route to market, negotiating distribution contracts, while evaluating and engaging them.
Advanced knowledge of the USA market with a rich network of collaborators in the spirits industry
At least 10+ years of work experience at international commercial positions within a diverse and multicultural team in a dynamic and highly competitive environment, FMCG preferred
Proven track record in brand development, distributor management, business performance improvement and financial management is a must
Entrepreneurial spirit, maintaining high levels of energy and relentlessly finding opportunities
Has ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet rigid deadlines, be extremely comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working in a group setting.
