Morrison’s are really going all out for Valentine’s Day this year as they ‘Spread the Love’ throughout the local communities, after we all suffered a restricted Valentine’s Day last year due to COVID and lockdowns.
Community champions from each store will be playing Cupid this year as they reach out to locals by delivering romantic gifts, giving away free chocolates and roses and even providing elderly couples in care homes with free Valentine Day meals for two and specially customer nominated hampers.
Rebecca Singleton, Community Director at Morrisons said, “We want to make this Valentine’s Day extra special after it couldn’t be celebrated as usual last year….So our Community Champions are becoming Cupid Champions to spread happiness across the UK and celebrate the occasion.”
Morrison’s aren’t the only ones spreading the love, UBER are also running a special love boat service with the Thames Clipper, taking loved up couples on a romantic cruise down the thames. On board the cruise couples with be wined and dined by combination of heart shaped shortbread biscuits, champagne and classic love songs played live by a string quartet.
