Commercial Category Manager



A unique opportunity has arisen with an incredibly exciting global CPG brand that is ramping up it’s UK presence, with current 50% YOY growth of innovative new products launching into the market soon.

As an established SME who are going into a high-growth phase with strong financial backing, they’re looking to build their commercial category capabilities – this is the first category hire in the business, so we are looking for someone exceptionally commercial, entrepreneurial and capable of ‘big picture thinking’.

You will work across all channels and customers, utilising customer insight to be the bridge between sales and marketing and build the category vision, strategy and execution.

Working in a smaller business presents both opportunities and challenges – you will have the autonomy to drive the category agenda and also get exposure to other business areas such as marketing and sales, as well as being hands on with the customers to identify needs and manage the range and promotional activity.

Ideally, you will have well-rounded knowledge of different commercial FMCG disciplines – from category management, commercial strategy, marketing and sales to supply chain. We are also open to considering Buyers who are looking to work for a high growth brand.
