Up To £55,000 + Car Allowance / Company Car & Bonus


This is a high profile and exciting Lead Shopper Activation role working for a well-known FMCG drinks business. This role is managing all channels (Grocery, Convenience, OOH, Wholesale etc.), so is a chunky position to really sink your teeth into. We are looking for an experienced shopper marketing manager who wants to step up into this role.

This role has an incredible amount of visibility, so we’re looking for someone commercial, confident and analytical, with strong communication skills who has the ability to work with cross-functional internal brand and sales teams as well as externally with customers. This role sits as part of the commercial activation function, reporting into the Director.

You’ll be accountable for:

  • Defining the shopper activation strategy in conjunction with the brand guidelines with each of your customers through the use of commercial insight
  • Developing short and long term engagement strategies, working with the sales and marketing teams to align customer engagement
  • Involvement in the JBP process
  • Full ownership of the shopper budget
  • Managing customer relationships – an indepth understanding of key customer needs is essential for this role

Previous experience working across multiple functions in a shopper planning perspective is key for success in this role (preference for grocery and/or convenience experience). This requires a deep understanding of the shopper marketing planning process as well as activation of brand campaigns.
