Our client, a leading FMCG personal care manufacturer is looking for developmental marketing talent to join their business – initially on a contract basis - within the shopper marketing function of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has already built some exposure to the UK FMCG industry to make a step, which will kick-start their long term career. Working on some of the best known brands in the industry, this individual will play a key role supporting top Shopper Marketing professionals in the delivery and analysis of retailer based activity – interacting with internal stakeholders, the retailer clients, and Point of Purchase agencies – therefore we are looking for individuals who offer faultless communications skills, and who are self motivating, and able to organise their own time to ensure delivery or pre-agreed targets.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate prior experience of working within the UK FMCG industry – this could come either from a placement during a degree, or a first role in the industry to get initial experience. They will also need to demonstrate strong analytical ability – therefore candidates who have handled and pulled insights from data sources such as IRI, Nielsen, and TNS or similar will be of interest.
